I recently met with our new insurance rep, who noticed that our total injuries were significantly reduced compared to this time last year. He asked me what I thought contributed to this rapid decline in injuries, and I explained it was ACI’s and Select's partnership and focus on developing a successful safety program. On-Site Program:

Select reduced temporary overtime from 17% during the month of October 2008 to 5% during the month of March 2009 by aggressively monitoring the hours each employee works.  To appreciate this achievement, you must understand that as a contract manufacturing facility the daily crewing requirements will fluctuate at a moments notice.  The crews may go from working 8 hours per day to 12 hour shifts with little or no advance warning.  Select has developed a crew through training and evaluation and is capable of providing fully qualified replacement personnel for any employee approaching 40 hours.
