SANTA BARBARA, CA – January 19, 2010 - Fred Pachón, Vice President of Risk Management and Insurance for The Select Family of Staffing Companies, has done it again. After receiving three prestigious national awards for his innovative risk management programs in the past 18 months, Pachón was most recently honored as one of the LexisNexis Workers' Compensation Law Center’s Workers' Compensation Notable People for 2009.  

The recipients of the LexisNexis 2009 awards were selected by various organizations and experts in the field, including the Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG), the National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network (NWCDN), the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA), the Workers’ Compensation Forum on LinkedIn, and selected members of the Larson's National Workers' Compensation Advisory Board. Individuals were awarded for their tireless efforts on behalf of their clients and for their significant contributions this past year to the workers' compensation system and/or the workplace.
