RICHARD K. HULME

Chief Administrative Officer

As Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Richard Hulme believes the primary role of SelectRemedy’s corporate office is to serve its more than 400 branch offices as if they were customers.

Rich’s key responsibility is to ensure the best in service offerings is provided by the corporate team throughout Select’s nationwide enterprise. This includes areas of payroll and billing, information systems, risk management, workers’ compensation, and human resources.

Rich’s management style is based around clearly defining standards and deliverables. Then, he encourages his associates to meet these well-defined goals while remaining available to support and assist them whenever necessary.

Joining Select in 2000, Rich was Regional Manager of the Inland Empire Region of California for nearly 5 years. In 2005, he was promoted to a corporate executive position, first as Interim VP of Finance and now as Chief Administrative Officer. His background in field leadership, combined with his corporate experience, gives him a unique understanding of how Select’s corporate offices and branch offices can best succeed together.

Rich’s assignments have been multifaceted and have ranged from developing risk management incentive programs to participating in acquisition activities and sitting on the company’s Senior Operating Committee.

Prior to joining Select, Rich spent eight years developing commercial real estate in the Bay Area, first with Lincoln Property Company, the nation’s second-largest developer. There, his responsibilities included financial analysis, management of land acquisition, entitlements, architecture, engineering, construction, marketing, leasing, and management of completed projects.

Subsequently, Rich worked three years at Jones Lang Wootton, an international real estate asset management company, where he had primary responsibility for the early development phases of a $200 million, 116-acre R&D/office park on the shores of San Francisco Bay.

Rich also spent nine years with Concrete Technology Corporation and its successor, EarthShell Corporation, in Santa Barbara. He served as VP of Marketing/Operations and later as President/COO. Rich played a key role in taking the company public, raising $260 million in the IPO to finance the commercialization of the company’s biodegradable packaging product for the fast-food industry.

An entrepreneur at heart, Rich owned and operated Great Harvest Bread Company in Santa Barbara. He also spent one year as COO of eCommerceland, Inc., a start-up company.

Away from work, Rich enjoys spending time with his family, participating in outdoor activities, and being an active member of his church.

Mr. Hulme holds a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and an MBA from UCLA.
